One badass reel! Super light weight, I mean the spool on the 5/6 only being a little over 5 ounces, come on! A perfect reel to balance your favorite dry fly or streamer rod. The large arbor of course increasing the line retrieve rate but also won’t coil line as badly as smaller arbor reels tend to. And obviously, the finishes on Abel Reels are incredible. Designed and machined in Colorado, made in the USA, these reels are top notch functionally and aesthetically. Machined stainless steel makes this thing damn near bullet proof! Abel also gives you the option to basically build your own reel designed to your specs color wise, reel handle style, etc. to customize it. Definitely worth the coin!
