If you’re looking for a fun single hand rod to cast, the Echo BAG will put a smile on your face. They have a fast action like fiberglass rods normally possess and soft tip which make them great for streamer fishing. The longer loading time of the rod during your cast makes it easier to control your loop and achieve your casting distance more efficiently. Not to mention they are a riot to fight a scrappy brown or smallmouth with on the 8 foot 6 weight model in particular!

I see a lot of anglers struggling to double and even single haul when streamer fishing the wider tailwater rivers of Michigan with a graphite rod that might be too slow of an action that doesn’t sync well with their casting stroke.
